Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 19, 2026
Short version: we collect what we need to build your site and take your payment, and nothing else. We set no tracking cookies, we run no advertising pixels, and we never sell your information.
1. Who we are
LocalWebify is a website and online-booking service for local businesses, operated as a sole proprietorship by Tiago S Oliveira.

hello@localwebify.com
This policy covers localwebify.com and the service we provide to our customers. It does not cover the websites we build for our customers — each of those businesses is responsible for its own visitors' data.
2. What we collect
When you ask for a free preview or write to us
The contact form asks for your name, email, business name and what kind of business you run. You can add a phone number, but you do not have to — we work by email. The form is delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, which passes the message along and does not use it for anything else.
When you buy a plan
Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page. We never see, handle or store your full card number. From Stripe we receive: your name, email address, billing country and postal code, the business name you entered, your answer to the domain question, what you bought, and the brand and last four digits of your card.
When we build and run your site
Whatever you send us to put on the site — business name, address, hours, services, prices, photos, logo, reviews, social links, and the login details you choose to share so we can connect an existing domain or Google listing.
When you visit localwebify.com
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — page views and rough country, measured without cookies and without following you across sites. We see totals, not people.
- Server logs — Cloudflare records IP address, browser and requested page for a short period to block attacks and abuse.
- Google Fonts — the page loads its typefaces from Google's servers, so your IP address reaches Google when the page opens.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook pixels, advertising trackers, session recording, or any profiling tool.
3. Cookies
localwebify.com sets no cookies of its own — no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no consent banner to click away. Stripe sets its own cookies on Stripe's checkout page, for fraud prevention and to keep your session working; that happens on Stripe's domain, under Stripe's privacy policy.
4. Why we use your information
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Name, email, business details | To answer you, build your preview, and run your site |
| Payment information | To charge the plan and add-ons you chose, and to handle refunds and disputes |
| Domain and account access you share | To connect your domain, email or Google listing — only for the job you asked for |
| Analytics and logs | To keep the site up, see which pages work, and stop abuse |
| Billing records | Because tax and accounting law requires us to keep them |
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We do not send marketing email to people who have not asked to hear from us.
5. Who we share it with
Only with the services we need to run the business:
| Service | What it handles |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Payments, subscriptions, invoices |
| Cloudflare | Hosting, security, cookieless analytics |
| Web3Forms | Delivery of the contact form |
| Cal.com | The online booking calendar on your site |
| Migadu | Our email, and email at your own domain if your plan includes it |
| Only if you buy the Google Business Profile add-on, to create or fix your listing |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. If the business is ever sold or transferred, customer records would go with it, and we would tell you first.
6. Your customers' data
If your site takes bookings or quote requests, the details your customers enter belong to you, not to us. We handle them only to keep your site and calendar working. We do not use them to market anything, we do not add them to any list, and we do not sell them. When you leave, that data is yours to take.
7. How long we keep things
- Enquiries that never became customers: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Customer and billing records: 7 years after the last payment, because United States tax rules require it.
- Website content and files: while you are a customer, plus 90 days after you leave, so nothing is lost if you change your mind.
- Server logs: a short retention period set by Cloudflare, typically days.
8. Your rights
Write to hello@localwebify.com and you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- send you a copy of your content and data;
- delete what we hold, except records we are legally required to keep.
We answer within 30 days, and we do not charge for it. We will not treat you differently for asking — no price change, no reduced service.
We are a small business and fall below the thresholds that make the California Consumer Privacy Act mandatory for us. We honour these requests anyway, from anyone, wherever you live.
9. Security and where your data lives
Everything runs on services with encryption in transit, and payment data stays with Stripe rather than with us. Access is limited to the one person who operates LocalWebify. Our servers and our providers are in the United States, so if you write to us from another country, your information is handled there.
No service on the internet is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affected your personal information, we would tell you by email without delay.
10. Children
LocalWebify is a service for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top. If a change materially affects existing customers, we email them before it takes effect.
12. Contact
Questions about privacy go to hello@localwebify.com. All support is handled in writing, which means you always have a record of what was said.
